Dontyne Gears has a booth at IMTS once again. This exhibition is well suited to Dontyne activity and we have many existing customers and partners at the show. The event allows us to showcase the latest software from Dontyne Systems for gear tool design and applications for both machine tools and inspection equipment, and this year is no exception.
GPS Release 5.9 has new developments integrating to hobbing and skiving simulations to honing to calculate complete surface as well as the introduction of additional simulations such as plunge shaving.
GPS CAM for production on 5 Axis CNC Machine Tools has new options for Hypoid and Internal Cylindrical production by milling tools, and specialist bevel forms by bladed tool generation for efficient production of larger batches
DOMMS (Dontyne On Machine Measuring System) integrates with multiple platforms to inspect gear parameters on machine tools, shopfloor measuring devices in-process, or CMMs. The system integrates with GPS for seamless design data transfer and features include a modern GUI with novel result displays utilising 3D graphics and simple to follow evaluation of results as well as the traditional evaluation methods according to Standards.
